I needed some furniture (bookshelves, bed) and other items moved outside for pickup by the Salvation Army, and a desk and file cabinets moved . In the process of reorganizing, and having some built in bookshelves installed, the space for maneuvering was tight, and I asked that all care be taken to avoid a drywall repair etc. , in other words, don't bonk the walls going down the stairs or anywhere else. So what impressed me about the service? The two guys, Ron and Pierre were AMAZING. Arrived on time, surveyed the job, how to get it done, and completed it perfectly. They were polite, friendly, professional. Setting up the appointment via Thumbtack was efficient, reliable. The owner responded to all my questions with hardly any time lag. I set this up on a Sunday and everything was confirmed for Monday morning. Nothing went wrong-- outstanding rating for Thumtack, for JJ Movers, but especially for Ron and Pierre.

This was my first experience with a moving company and I am very satisfied. First of all, I happened to move in the one weekend in San Diego it rained more then we get in a year. I was very skeptical, telling the guys, "I don't think we can do this" but also panicked because I had no other weekend available. The guys were both like, we are booked and feel bad for leaving you hanging. Let's do this! So they moved me, both entirely drenched from the rain, my stuff somehow barely got wet and they did it all under 2-3 hours. I'm really happy because I didn't have to lift or move a thing, nothing got damaged, and the cost was nothing compared to what other moving companies wanted to charge me.

The two guys that i hired to help move my furniture were great . They came before the time in 20 min and that shows dedication to their work . They move my two bedroom furniture and then installed them in my other apartment in only 3 hours . (They de attached the bed and attached again in my new place !!) they were also smiling and communicating great with me unlike the ikea people who were very stiff and angry all the time . I really enjoyed hiring them and i hope u do too . I will also suggest them to my friends .

Small moves, one to two bed room apartments. With the occasional larger 4+ bedroom homes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not settle for the biggest and most expensive they are not always the best, on the other hand do not settle for the cheapest. The saying "you get what you pay for" holds true for the most part. We are in the middle, we may not ways be the cheapest but our customer service and qaulity of work is second to none.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I want my customers to know that I am an honest business owner and will think of them first before I think of my own personal gains.
