Introduction: I’m here to help people and their dogs. I was a struggling dog owners for years with a dog who bit other people and dogs. Once I learned how to calm her mind down and teach her to be more confident while still adhering to the rules of our society, I knew I had to start helping others. I have spent the last 4 years diving deep into learning and working with multiple dogs in a rescue and through clients. I go to every training seminar I can to learn new methods. I believe that every dog is different and needs different training techniques, I never limit myself to trying new things.
I am a balance trainer so I use communication tools such as prong collars and ecollars to help add direction and clarity after I work on building a relationship with the dog. I don’t layer in the e-collar till everything is fairly taught to the dog using reward based methods. I am very open to showing my work and I post everything up on instagram and Facebook and I like to encourage everyone to check that out to get a better sense of how I train and who I am as a person.
I believe that dogs learning to have an off switch in their life helps so much with teaching impulse control, which is the main culprit behind behavioral issues. By providing a consistent flow in the home then incrementally adding new and difficult distractions, we are teaching a dog how to go through the emotions of learning to be calm and excepting of what is.
For the basic leash and collar foundation work, that program is one day for 2 hours. That includes learning all the commands and house structuring. The price is 250$ and includes a prong collar for dogs over 5 months old. For dogs younger than 5 months old it’s $250 for 2 sessions. I teach a lot of the foundations you will want your puppy to know as well as preventative training to keep behavioral issues from developing as your puppy gets into maturity. A fully informed instructional email will be sent after the 1st session for reference.
If you are looking for a fully trained dog that knows all their commands, can be off leash anywhere and come back when called right away, my 5 session program will accomplish all that. This is 1,500$ and includes a prong collar and e-collar. I teach owners how to train their dogs and guide them through behavior modification as well. All sessions are up to 2 hours each and I send out a fully informed instructional email after the 1st session for reference plus lifetime support.
My board and train 4 week program kick starts your dogs training for you. On pick up, your dog will have a full understanding of the tools, rules and consequences for non compliance. Along with the obedience, I will problem solve your dogs unique way of learning and breakthrough the areas they have been struggling with. You will be picking up a more confident and relaxed dog that has a better sense of self control around heavy distractions. The dogs go home with more willingness to work alongside their owners and start seeing them as their leader first than friend. Owners get an easy to follow go home packet that explains how life with theirs dogs will look and I spend 2 hours at the go home making sure owners have all the information they need to succeed with their dog. I also recommend an in home session two weeks later that’s included in the price. This is to help problem solve or answer questions after you’ve taken your dog back home with you. This program is 3,000.00$ and includes all the training tools and lifetime support.
