Randy was great! We had 17 people in our family that we wanted to get photographed and he was very accommodating to all of our needs. He had our pictures done the following morning and met us close to our hotel! The pictures turned out absolutely amazing!

We decided to do a family photo at the last minute (after we arrived at Kauai). We didn’t know where to find photographers and we had good experience with thumbtacks last time in Hawaii, so I searched on yelp and thumbtack, finally found Randy. He was very quick to response my inquiry and questions.Communication with Randy before the session was excellent. He gave good suggestions on where to take photos based on my preferences. He used natural lights to creat unique moment, which I have never experienced before (almost all my photography experiences involved flash or certain lights equipments). The photos turned out to be beautiful!!!! You can feel his passion about his job when he talks. He is a such thoughtful person, my hubby was going to meet him and getting the photos the night before our flight; he decided to drive (30 mins drive)to our hotel to deliver the final work to save us some hassle. The only thing he did not so great was he overestimated our hiking speed with two kids 😂😂😂 . It took us a bit effort to get the place where we shoot the photos. The beach and the beach mountain combined backdrop is exactly what I want. The view is even more gorgeous when you see in person than appears on photos. We had great experience with Randy. Thanks for capturing the great memories for our family. We will definitely recommend Randy to our friends who visit Kauai.

Randy was awesome. He was able to make it in such a short notice and a very reasonable price. My fiance and I had many outfits and we wanted to take pictures on all of them. Randy was so receptive to the idea and he didn’t rush us or make us feel that we are on a time schedule. I booked the session with him expecting to receive the photos in 3 weeks or so and I was pleasantly surprised that he actually edited them and handed them to me in the same day! The photos were professionally taken and even the raw ones were amazing. Simply, I could not have asked for a better experience.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am the most affordable professional photographer on the island My Family and Couples Photography session is only $250 Photo session is roughly 1 hour You will receive 30 edited images. All files on a flash drive that I provide NEXT DAY!!!!! Photography is my life 24 hours a day... Its my passion!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to shoot a mixture of candid and posed portraits. I am always shooting. My goal is to capture that natural moment that bring out your true self! We will make the best of every location. Usually about 5 or 6 different areas within the same location to give some variety in the background and composition. I am totally open to ideas from the customer...so get out your Pinterest and lets do this!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No education to speak of in photography. If I was to give any credit it would have to be to YouTube!!! LOL Learned a lot about composition, Law of 3's, shooting in Manual, understanding Aperture and Shutter, and overall editing process. I edit in Adobe Lightroom which is the premier editing software for professionals. And of course you have to take a million photos and review...which I have. If you want some proof, ask my girlfriend. She will confirm the amount of photos I take with rolling eyes:)
