- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is according to the scope of work and height of work involved. Typical Chimney tuckpoint and new cap for a 4' brick/ stone chimney is $1500 -$2200 Tear down and rebuild (above roofline) $3500-$5500 Free estimates if hired. Estimate price- $100 depending on location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Seasonal work (outside) I generally take bookings for the Spring/Summer/Early Fall season for chimney repair, and larger projects. Home base is Elma Wa. as it rains 10 ft in the winter, masonry projects are put on hold until the weather is suitable, unless the scope of work is inside.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Union trained, 4 years apprenticeship on the Nebraska State Capitol Building. 10 years in the Bricklayers Union #1 (Lincoln Neb, Chicago Ill, Minneapolis Minn.) 21 years residential brick and stone, working for private companies, 9 years in business for myself.
