FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most things fall under diagnostic ($60), but I apply that to the cost of the eventual repair. Example: Diagnostic reveals a Virus Infection. I apply the cost of the diagnostic (-60) to the cost of a Virus Removal ($90) so it is only an additional $30 for the total cost of the diagnostic AND the Virus Removal. I charge a trip fee of $30 for trips over 15 miles, and $60 for trips over 30 miles. This fee needs to be paid before I can confirm appointment day and time. I have a mandatory trip fee in place to help cover fuel costs, vehicle maintenance and to discourage last minute cancellations. To be eligible for a refund on a trip fee, please make your cancellation 24 hours in advance of your confirmed appointment time. What I do is based on my skill and my time and if I have a booking with you, that is time I can’t book someone else.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing I do is try to gain a deeper understanding of the problem, need or issue. I ask a lot of questions to help me determine where to start in troubleshooting. There are times when someone knows something is wrong, but they may not know how to explain it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Lifelong musician and video gamer.
