- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Chapter 7 Bankruptcies: I quote these at a flat rate starting at $850 and go up, depending on the complexity. Chapter 13: I quote these at a Flat rate also, but because of the uniquely complicated nature of a Chapter 13 filing, all of these cases are individually assessed and quoted their own flat rate. Business legal needs are evaluated and quoted flat rates whenever possible. Most routine business legal needs can be quoted a flat rate. Complex business legal needs may be quoted on an hourly basis. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All attorneys are required to take classes called Continuing Legal Education classes. I am on track to triple the amount of classes required. I only take classes that have enhanced benefits to my clients, but I take a lot of them to ensure I'm up to date on the latest legal developments and court rulings.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find an attorney who is competent and is one that you like. You'll be working closely with them so make the best choice you can.
