Cherelle and her husband Igor were (are) wonderful people and a joy to work with. They really helped bring to life our vision of the look for our daughter's reception, and added many great ideas of their own. And their prices and rental rates were actually affordable! These photos don't really do justice to the beauty of the decorations, and I can't seem to be able to upload all the pictures I wanted. It keeps crashing. Oh well. The level of service provided by Floral & Stripes was beyond exceptional! From arranging vendors to providing timely updates. Very proactive and professional they anticipated our needs and saved us time. We would definitely use them for any event we ever host near or far we would want them as the event planner. Very detail oriented and we loved the eagerness to ensure our event was a success.

I had a vision...Cherelle made it come true. She executed such a beautiful wedding that my venue people got in touch with me to let me know how wonderful her work was. Cherelle had a small budget to work with and she created a fairy tale. That is the word a lot of my guests used to describe the event, a fairy tale and it was because of the mood the Cherelle created with her artistic vision. She was wonderful to work with and so very attentive all the way up to the event. I do not have my pictures back yet but once I get them I will update this review so you can see her beautiful work.

Cherelle did a really phenomenal job for our wedding. All the decorations were absolutely stunning, and my husband and I are extremely happy. We just admired her head table center piece the whole time while we ate dinner. In all seriousness, her work is gorgeous, book her! The arch, the chair decorations, the aisle runner, the centerpieces, and more were all beautiful, like how I imagined it to be but better. In addition to her excellent quality of work, she's super easy and fun to work with. She's very responsive to our messages and was there early to start decorating on our wedding day. She kindly met with us when we first contacted her, listened to what we were picturing and what we wanted, and came up with an excellent plan (we would've definitely forgotten a couple things without her). She listened to our ideas and was super receptive to feedback as we finalized the designs. She's also brilliant; my husband (then fiance) and I were a bit bummed when we found out that the venue didn't allow loose rose petals for the aisle in case the wind blew them all over the venue grounds, but when we told Cherelle this, she came up with the idea of gluing the petals to the aisle runner, and it looked so lovely. Her prices are so reasonable, and her work is so WORTH IT. She saved us so much stress on the wedding day so that we can just enjoy the day, and she made our venue look amazing with that festive mood to help make it a great time for our guests.

I cannot say enough about how great my experience was with Cherelle and her husband Igor. I had the lovely opportunity to work with Cherelle after finding her on Craigslist. With a very tight budget for our wedding I did not think I could afford a wedding decorator but decided to reach out to her and at least ask. She said she could work with any budget and definitely worked with mine. Throughout the whole process from start to finish Cherelle has been amazing! I am a very picky and indecisive person and Cherelle helped me find my vision for our wedding. She texted me very often her ideas and sent pictures of DIYs she did for our wedding. She even stopped by my house 3 days before the wedding to pick up extra flowers I had picked from my parents garden to use for the wedding since I could not exceed my budget for more floral and wanted bigger centerpieces. She never once made me feel bad about being on such a limited budget and instead helped brainstrom ideas to find alternative options to create my vision of the wedding. I loved how she responded very quickly to all my emails and text and really helped take a lot of weight off my shoulders. As a bride, I had so much on my plate, it was nice to have someone that was my go to person for the decorating. I received a great amount of compliments on our decor and am so blessed to have worked with such a passionate person who truly went above and beyond! Not only was Cherelle professional throughout the entire process, she is such a genuine person and made me feel like I was planning my wedding with a friend and just bouncing ideas off each other. She made the experience fun and it was so exciting to see the finished piece of art on our wedding day. Without using her services, I know my wedding would not have been as beautiful or even close to it. I highly, HIGHLY recommend her services. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first initial design consultation is complimentary and will be a time for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. Prior to our meeting, I will have you provide me with pictures or ideas of your vision so that I can bring appropriate items to our appointment. At the consultation we will discuss your vision, price range, go over ideas and figure out what services are best suited for you. After our consultation, I will provide you with a comprehensive presentation, outlining your event design in full detail. This will also include your itemized decor quote for you to look over.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2016 I decided on a whim to open up my own event and wedding decorating business since I had such a huge passion for designing and decorating for friends and family. I started with a few very budgeted weddings and a very memorable bridezilla, to now specializing in five-star weddings, corporate functions, galas, non- profit events, special celebrations, parties, and more. What was once just a hobby for those I love, has now turned into a business I’m passionate about.
