This is not my job this is my passion and I think the difference is evident in my work. I love love, I love getting to know my clients, I love hearing their love story, their graduation story, all of it! My photos tell your story with beautiful light and portray you in your best light.
I’ve spent years educating myself and learning how to pose people for their body shape, how to bring out real emotion, and do so in that in the most flattering way for that client.

Our experience was great. Our family of 5 came from out of town, didn't know the area and could only describe the type of photos we wanted. Katy picked a great location and was able to get all the shots we wanted and a few more. And downloading the end-product was easy. Great experience.

My husband and I almost forgot about Christmas cards this year, so we were in a hurry to find a good photographer who could quickly take a few pictures for our Christmas cards. THANKFULLY, we found Kathrine. We were in a time crunch, but she made the process so easy and painless for us. She answered our request on Thumbtack quickly. We were able to book an appointment. The photo shoot was in our backyard. I was a little concerned because it was an overcast day, but she was able to get some amazing shots despite the weather! Kathrine’s prices are fair. She knew we needed the pictures quickly, so she had a few ready on the night of the shoot and the rest were available within a few days. Her website is very easy to navigate. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am priced according to the quality of my work and in regards to my experience in that field. I know I spend a VAST amount of time after a photo shoot editing to perfection and making sure my clients are thrilled with the end result.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to connect with my clients. When you decide to book with me, I like to schedule a coffee meeting somewhere where we can go over your vision of what you want your photos to look like. I sign an agreement stating everything I promise as your photographer, and you do the same as the client. This puts a mutual trust and starts our relationship off to great and comfortable beginning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Second shooting, and engaging in mentorships with some of the best in the business, as well as HOURS of online training in all things photography, camera knowledge, photoshop, lighting, etc.
