FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is typically based on a time and materials structure. This approach allows for flexibility, especially on custom projects where details and scope can evolve as the work progresses. We believe this is the most transparent and fair way to ensure you’re only paying for the actual work performed and materials used, while still maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Before starting, we communicate clearly about expectations, scope, and estimated timelines so there are no surprises along the way. Our goal is to provide honest, straightforward pricing while delivering quality work that reflects the value of your investment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process begins with a personalized consultation where we meet with each customer to understand their vision, needs, and preferences for the project. David takes the time to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and gain a clear understanding of what the customer is looking to achieve. From there, we provide thoughtful recommendations and guidance based on our 25+ years of experience, ensuring the approach aligns with both the desired outcome and the practical aspects of the space. Our goal is to deliver the highest level of craftsmanship while making the process smooth, transparent, and tailored to each client. Throughout the project, we maintain clear communication, professionalism, and attention to detail—ensuring the final result reflects exactly what the customer envisioned, executed to the highest standard. We will require 15% down to secure the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While we don’t come from a formal classroom training background, our expertise has been built through over 25 years of hands-on, real-world experience in the field. We’ve spent decades working alongside highly skilled journeyman carpenters, mastering the craft through practical application, mentorship, and continuous learning on the job. This extensive experience has given us a deep understanding of custom cabinet installation, finish carpentry, and woodworking techniques that only come from years of doing the work at a high level. We stay committed to maintaining industry best practices, precision, and professionalism on every project.
