The main request I had when searching for a counselor was to find one who spoke with clarity and confidence when giving feedback. I wanted someone who would be honest and help me to learn how to live a happier, healthier life. Margy’s gentle yet intuitive way of expressing feedback is very effective. It’s kind of amazing how she does it. I learned I had choices to make every day. I learned I was in complete control of my feelings and no one else could make me feel a certain way. What a concept that was for me to realize. Margy’s ability to consistently revisit a situation as often as I needed helped me immensely to fully understand what my part was in a particular circumstance. I have also read her book, 5 Steps to Forgiveness, three times. It’s an amazing read, full of meaningful ways to embrace forgiveness and the importance of doing so. I have sincere gratitude for Margy.
