Introduction: I can read bodies and alignments. I allow students to make adjustments at their own pace through verbal lead so they can actually recreate that experience and correct their alignments in the future. I understand the pitfalls of yoga and incorrect breath/posture instruction and can safely guide students into a progressive practice. I am not an airy-fairy yoga instructor. I have been a wilderness guide, mother and business woman. I know how to address the stress of modern life with yoga. Visual Transformation. There is nothing like watching the body open and see people take their original form through relaxation at the end of class. I love taking people to their edge and then exploring it with ease. I love that I get to research and practice new sequences as a part of my career.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly researching, reading and blogging about Trauma release and nueroplasticity as it relates to yoga. Breath Awareness Practitioner. Part of local Healing collectives with Naturopathic Physicians.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Spinal injury in 2007. Double compression fracture. I had been studying eastern philosophy in college and it just made since to me to heal through yoga.
What types of customers have you worked with?
60-90 minute Yin Classes, 60-90 minute Dynamic Flow Classes. 2 hr Advanced Workshops in Athletic Yoga, Yoga for stress relief and Dynamic flow and Yin Combos.
