I didn't take the Karate class but you'll never find a kickboxing class more fun. Don't get me wrong it was tough work but it was fun too. Misha is a very motivating teacher. She keeps you coming back!

Going in NW Kickboxing & MMA over a year ago I really was unsure what to expect, but I soon discovered the pure passion and love for the arts the instructor has. The instructor is patient, and expects all student to respect one another " No picking on the new guy" mentality. I will be apart of this school for a very long time. I give the highest of recommendation to anyone to attend this school,your really not going to find a more knowledgeable instructor that wants to pass on his love for Martial Arts. You will walk out of the school each day with more knowledge and self respect than the day before.

Fighting Chance Seattle offers self-defense and kickboxing programs. Our self-defense for women program is available via group workshop, one-on-one lessons or as a corporate event. This program aims to educate and empower. Participants will learn self-defense strategy and practice proper body mechanics while striking padded targets. Our custom program relies on simple, effective techniques with no gimmicks and no nonsense. We also have a completely different self-defense program available for men. Our Kickboxing 101 program focuses on the fundamentals of kickboxing in dynamic, engaging group classes or one-on-one training. This program has four objectives, as follows: 1. Energetic, full-body workout 2. Stress relief and outlet for aggression 3. Cultivate mindfulness, concentration and self-discipline 4. Learn about martial arts culture and history Fighting Chance Seattle is a friendly, respectful, and nonintimidating environment for women and men of all levels of ability and fitness. Sensei Jordan Giarratano, the owner and instructor of Fighting Chance Seattle, is a martial arts expert with 19 years of training in a range of fighting styles, including Tang Soo Do karate, Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing, street self-defense, and grappling. He was granted permission to open his own school under the Fighting Chance name by his instructor in October 2011.

We offer exceptional program in martial arts, fitness kickboxing, and self-defense programs. - Martial Arts Program - In our martial arts classes you will find a mixed-martial arts curriculum of skills. Our main focus is on modified mixed-martial arts (controlled contact sparring which involves kicking, punching, throws, grappling, and submissions) and self-defense training. In our curriculum we combine all of these elements together to give the student a skill set in each range of combat and in the different format of sport versus self-defense. Our goal is develop good competitors for those who want to compete and good self-defense concepts for those who want to have a basic ability to defend themselves. Everybody in the class will get into great shape, have fun, and learn new things that will better their lives. Personal growth is an important component to our program, so plan on challenging yourself in many ways that may not include just kicks and punches. The great value in this program is that we tailor it to fit each particular students strengths and weaknesses. It is also a shortened condensed program to give the student some quick tools and skills. In this format, the student will set up their class schedule according to what works best for their time line and goals.
