Christie is professional and arrived to my photo session promptly. I am usually awkward when I get my picture taken but she made me feel comfortable. Thank you Christie for the beautiful pictures to commemorate my graduation from Fire Acadmey.Jul 19, 2019
When Tyler and I were planning our wedding, I wanted everything to feel natural and truly expressive of who we are and our love for one another. Christie was the perfect photographer to make those goals reality. When she shot our engagement photos, she did a great job of putting us at ease. My initial awkwardness melted away, and I ended up with many photos of Tyler and I laughing and hugging that are now all over our house. We also had Christie photograph our engagement party. She captured beautifully colorful portraits of the party, with lots of candid moments of all guests and ourselves. I dearly wish she could have photographed our wedding, but it was 3,000 miles away. I would recommend Christie for any special event; she is a true artist who really connects with the people she is photographing.Jul 19, 2019
Christie was an absolute dream to work with. She made me feel comfortable Infront of the camera, and the entire shooting process fun overall. The end results were beyond my expectations consistently amazing well executed shots. I can't pick my favorites because they all turned out so good.Jul 18, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is really affordable right now for this area because I am trying to make connections and grow my business in a new state. I'm happy to take a hit on income for a while if it means I get to meet more awesome clients and vendors in Washington!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I would love to have a phone or FaceTime call to get acquainted and talk about your needs for your event/shoot and see if we can work together to make your vision come to life. If you like my work and we think we'd work well together, I'll write a proposal and contract and send it to you online. My booking software makes signing contracts and making payments super easy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am mostly self taught but did take a course in film back when I was learning that really helped me learn how to expose a scene. I've worked as an assistant and a second shooter with several wedding photographers, and have recently been working with a mentor to up my event coverage skills.
