Routine grooming is necessary for all types of dogs and it not only strengthens the human-animal bond but it also increases circulation and muscle tone! Clients can benefit from having a certified and knowledgeable professional handling their pet's grooming needs. I offer IN-HOME dog grooming services for all types of dogs which means I do not have a van or special vehicle. I specialize in pets who have been rejected from grooming salons or whose owners can't make it to take them in for grooming. I also service special needs dogs and those with fear or anxiety and have found they do much better in their home environment.
I love working with clients who take an active role in their pet's lives and I love working with animals! Sometimes I think I like animals more than people!

Kimberly did an amazing job on our dog! She helped him stay calm the entire groom despite tons of matting and she was cheerful the whole way through, giving us some helpful tips on caring for him since he has health issues related to his age. We highly recommend her!

I could tell how detailed and conscientious Kimberly was in the way she groomed my dog Gandalf. She kept him calm and comfortable during the grooming process, and she was very thorough and patient in handling Gandalf’s matted hair and meticulous in how she trimmed him. While she didn’t entirely groom my other dog, Harley, due to timing, she was able to trim his face. Harley can be challenging, but Kimberly was very gentle with him and handled him perfectly. I have already scheduled Gandalf’s next grooming with Kimberly. I was very pleased with the job she did with Gandalf.

Kimberly is a very nice person who stayed focused on her job. Great grooming and patient with Thirdson who was very guarded. She explain what she was doing and why. Her grooming tools were professional, She was friendly with both myself and Thirdson. He looks dignified 🐶 I have booked a follow up appointment 😁

My dogs love Kim. One of them is afraid of having his nails trimmed and is a large baby. Great Dane and black German Shepard. Kim works with him and gets the job done. He’s always proud of himself and his nails after the ordeal. Kim is wonderful with dogs and gets my top recommendation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do in-home dog grooming, that means in your home. I charge a house call fee of $10 in Lacey and if I travel anywhere else I charge depending on mileage, so between $20 and $50 usually. Please refer to my price sheet for specific breed pricing.
I offer spa, medicated and shedding shampoos and pkgs and only use all natural pet products!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with clients and give them a feel of my experience and history. I do an eight point inspection on all grooming clients, every time, to be sure there are no new lumps, bumps, abrasions, etc. and record size and shape so we may catch things before they become a problem and send them to their vet if necessary.
Sometimes groomers are able to see things owners do not see so having the inspection is beneficial. I also access their skin and coat to determine the best course of action for grooming.
I then make the estimate and if the customer agrees they sign digitally and I begin the groom!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified dog groomer, I attended Hartnell College in CA for animal health and Technology Science, I am certified in Pet First Aid, I can administer medications and give vaccinations, and I AM a former member of the BBB in California for many years with an A rating.
