FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a private-pay practice, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. This allows sessions to stay focused on your goals rather than medical necessity requirements or diagnosis restrictions. A superbill can be provided if you choose to seek out-of-network reimbursement. I offer a free brief consultation so you can decide if the fit feels right before scheduling a full appointment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a short phone or video consultation so you can describe what’s been going on and ask questions. You won’t need to share your entire story. The first session focuses on understanding how your stress reactions actually operate day-to-day (sleep, triggers, reactivity, tension). From there we create a practical plan aimed at helping your nervous system settle so changes show up outside of sessions — not just insight during them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work and specialized training in trauma treatment, cognitive approaches, and nervous-system regulation strategies. My work integrates evidence-based methods with practical application so progress feels noticeable in daily life, not just in theory.
