Introduction

I teach Arabic to adults and young learners. I have been very active in my local community working as an English and Arabic teacher for the ministry of youth and sport. I have also worked for the U.S Peace Corps as Arabic language instructor and culture facilitator trainer for more than 5 years. I have helped Peace Corps volunteers with projects, through language interpretation, translation, facilitating meetings, assisting at workshops and led sessions on culture and education. I have immersed myself with people from all walks of life, exchanging culture, history, language and anything that makes us a global community. In 2010, I have been honored by the U.S Department of State to participate in a leadership program at Montana State University. I considered myself to be honest, reliable, friendly and approachable. I respect people with religious and political beliefs that are different from mine. I see the harmony in bringing my own personal interests and beliefs as a way to better understand and communicate with other people.
