- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our business started with home inspections and then we started finding issues with mold in people's homes. We are always looking for ways to help our clients and this was one thing we didn't fully understand. After so much more training and education we decided to expand our business to include performing assessments and testing for indoor environmental issues.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to hire a company who is unbiased. Companies who offer to inspect and test your home for free are also generally contractors or remediators and looking for you to hire them to clean up the problem in your home. To protect yourself and be sure that a company has your best interest, hire someone who only performs the inspection and testing!
