- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fixed. Once we agree to work together, the price is based on the information and scope of work provided at the time of our agreement. If the information provided changes, or if the scope of work changes on either end, I will notify you as soon as possible. We can then discuss the circumstances and agree on any necessary price adjustment before additional work is performed. My goal is to keep pricing straightforward, transparent, and fair, with no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everything is done virtually. There’s no need to come into an office or spend time playing phone tag. Our process makes working with Statewide Tax Services convenient, simple, and personal. Initial Consultation We discuss your tax or accounting needs, your situation, and the services you’re looking for. Fixed Pricing Once I have the information needed to understand the scope of the work, I provide a fixed price based on that information. If the information provided or the scope of work changes, I’ll notify you immediately. We can then discuss the circumstances and agree on any necessary price adjustment before doing additional work. Communication Our primary method of communication is text messaging. Depending on your preference, we can communicate through SMS, WhatsApp, Signal, or Telegram. Email is also available when appropriate or when formal documentation is needed. Secure Client Portal We exchange all tax documents and sensitive information through the secure client portal. You’ll use the portal to complete your Tax Organizer, upload documents, sign your engagement letter, review documents, and complete other necessary steps. Preparation & Review I’ll prepare your tax return or complete the agreed-upon accounting services. If I have questions or need additional information, I’ll contact you through your preferred communication method. Client Review & Approval For tax returns, you’ll have an opportunity to review the completed return, ask questions, and approve it before filing. Filing & Completion Once approved, we'll electronically file your tax return or finalize your accounting work. You'll access completed documents through your secure client portal. Ongoing Support Our relationship doesn’t end when we file your return. I’m available year-round for tax and accounting questions and future needs. Simple. Virtual. Personal. You provide the information, I handle the work, and we communicate in the way that works best for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied accounting and taxation at Western Washington University and continue to maintain my tax knowledge through ongoing professional education. I participate in the IRS Annual Filing Season Program and complete 18 hours of continuing education each year, including an annual tax-law exam. Staying current with changing tax laws and regulations is an important part of providing accurate, reliable tax services to my clients
