FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Providing a quote over the phone is not possible until an initial inspection is complete and we develop a work plan. Every job is different, even one’s that appear the same, due to the nature of water migration. Any change in the plan and impact to price is discussed and documented with clients before proceeding with the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial inspection and testing for regulated materials (lead and asbestos), proposal of work plan, contract, work, post remediation inspection, report finalization, invoice and payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve earned degrees in microbiology and have a master’s in management. I’m also a certified firm with IICRC, the organization responsible for developing the international standards for water remediation specialists. I’ve received many certifications through them in both water and mold remediation. I’m on track to earn my triple master designation by my third year in the industry. This will set me apart from other restorers as less than 1% have earned the triple master designation. My annual education budget is high because I believe there are great benefits for everyone involved when working with an educated contractor.
