I have earned a Bachelors Degree in flute performance from Wheaton College in Chicago, IL as well as a Masters Degree in flute performance from the University of Tennessee.

Introduction
I provide quality flute lessons in a one-on-one setting. Not only do I teach the fundamentals of performance and musicianship, but I also include elements of music theory and ear training skills during the lesson.
I absolutely love working with students (of all ages) in order to help them grow as a musician.

I have had three flute teachers and Lauren is the best teacher that I have had. I have learned the most from her and improved the most. She inspires me to practice, get better and push myself. She sees the potential that I don't always see in myself.

Lauren Asimakoupoulos, is an amazing teacher who is patient, and has vast knowledge about playing the flute. My sound and hand position on the flute has improved immensely, since I have started taking lessons from Lauren. She pushes you to try harder material, and to go outside of your comfort zone, which has helped me not only with my playing skills, but it has helped me gain confidence. She is an amazing flutist and teacher.

Lauren has greatly helped me further my flute technique. She can take any student from any skill level and help them succeed. She finds different methods to try to solve reoccurring problems and is always looking for new options that work best. You can tell she really does love what she does and is amazing at it!
Before working with Lauren I was scared that a flute teacher would be disappointed in where my technique was. This was not the case. Lauren took it at my level and helped me develop my technique from where I was at. Truly an amazing teacher and person!
