We asked Alex from Renew Electric to give us an estimate for adding an outdoor 30 amp plug, wiring and new transfer switch for a portable generator. During his visit he also checked our main panel for any connections that were done poorly or not done to current code. Our main panel has had many alterations over 26 years so we weren't surprised when he found wiring issues that were concerning. He asked thoughtful questions, carefully considering the electrical needs and issues of our property.We met with him over an impressive and well put together Zoom call where he went over three very thorough estimates from the most comprehensive to the more basic, based on our more immediate needs.We were impressed by Alex's thoroughness, friendly demeanor and professionalism during the whole process. He's also a super nice guy, someone we would be most happy to work with and would certainly recommend.

I had a couple of electrical outlets in my 100+ year old house burn up. I called Renew Electric and they had someone at my house (which is in the "sticks") in less than 48 hours. He checked them out and fixed some wiring issues on that circuit. I had them come back to add a hookup for a generator and do a Old Wiring Safety Inspection. They arrived on time with crew of guys and hooked up the generator (including permiting) and inspected every outlet and light switch in the house (by taking off the face plates and visually checking the wiring). They found 3 or 4 more safety (AKA dangerous) issues and fixed them. I should be receiving a report outlining what they found during the inspection. The everyone was friendly, thorough, and professional and the pricing was reasonable (and exactly what what I was told it would be). Highly recommended.

Great company to work with. Alex and the rest of the team were very professional. They did a complete re-wire of an older rental home that I own after identifying many dangerous aspects of the older wiring. I was aware that the old wiring had some problems but not of the extent. I first contacted Renew Electric when an emergency developed when a heater wiring started smoking behind the wall and they was very prompt in coming out to fix this urgent problem. They did such an excellent job with that initial project that when it became apparent that the house needed even more extensive work I did not even bother to get other estimates. Perhaps (or perhaps not) I could have gotten a cheaper price quote but I knew that I would not have had the same degree of confidence in the quality of the work. Thank You Alex and team for providing me with the peace of mind of knowing that my tenants are safe.

Wednesday morning (2:00am) a tree came down and took out our power line and nearly tore the mast from our roof. Renew Electric rearranged their schedule and had Alex and Alexat our house shortly after noon and repaired everything and we're done in very timely and kept us informed of everything they were doing.The inspection was done Thursday and we had power by 10:00am.Needless to say Renew will be our go to electric company.
