    Kitchen transformed
James painted my cherry cabinets white. He did an excellent job. Every step was explained in great length and I feel his attention to detail shows in his finished project.

Woodworks did some painting for me on my kitchen cabinets and I was very pleased the job turned out great, and the price was very reasonable. James was a artist at his profession and we were very pleased. I highly recommend him and his company to do high quality job no cutting corners were done. He was good at communicating when asking questions and how the procedure would go. Again Highly Recommend

Rather than replace my dated, brown oak kitchen cabinets, I decided to hire Jim to paint them off white and replace the cabinet pulls and I'm so happy I did - Jim's work was exceptional (and saved me a ton of money). His recommendations on paint color and his attention to detail, were both spot on and his friendly manner and clear, frequent communications on the project's progress made it a great experience. I very highly recommend Jim's work.

We recently had the pleasure of working with the team at Woodworks. We had old pine cabinets that would have costed up to $10,000 to replace or cover them. We made the decision to have them painted. After researching some companies we decided to go with them. We asked for three different colors throughout the house. These two individuals did an amazing job, they cared about details (like it was their house), they made sure everything was to our satisfaction. They were honest, respectful and hard working. People are amazed when they see the transformation of our cabinets. I never write reviews, but Woodworks did such an amazing job I needed to put out some good press for them. If you are re-staining or painting your cabinets, call them...you will save money and you will be happy with the end result. Great job guys!

Q&A

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had been in the service industry for years, owning a small flooring business, and was convinced by a business man I had worked for, who had the idea of dust free wood renewal and needed someone to take it from his head and build it into a nationwide wood renewal franchise, which I did with his help. After 10 years as Master Franchise and Technical Trainer for them, I left to start WoodWorks and am still passionate for what I do to this day!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We specialize in Cabinet Recolors. These are sprayed on, colored coatings that can change that boring golden oak, to an updated thing of beauty. Add new knobs and pulls in brushed silver or flat black and you have a trendy, dramatic change to otherwise dated cabinets without the high cost of refacing or replacing!!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am proud of them all, but turning golden oak, Leave it to Beaver cabinets, into an espresso colored work of art is remarkable!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone with an artistic passion, patience, maturity, and skilled years of honesty in customer service and on the job skill sets. Make sure to check references and that they are a licensed and bonded business, registered with the state.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That we both want the same result with their project….. satisfaction and a job well done! We are proud of our work and for what we bring to the public eye.
