FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a free initial water damage assessment and explain the recommended scope and cost before you authorize work. The cost depends on the affected area, materials, equipment, drying time, and repairs needed. For insurance claims, we provide detailed estimates, photos, and moisture documentation and can coordinate billing with your insurer. Coverage, deductibles, exclusions, and any costs beyond the insurer's approved payment depend on your policy and claim. Plumbing, testing, and other services are quoted separately when applicable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, tell us what happened, when it started, and whether water is still leaking. We assess the affected areas, take moisture readings, and explain the next steps. Once you authorize the scope, we extract water as needed, set up drying equipment, and remove materials that cannot be saved. We monitor moisture levels and adjust the drying plan until the drying goals are met. When appropriate, we use Injectidry systems and hardwood floor drying mats to help preserve materials. We document the work for your records and insurance claim, coordinate plumbing through 411 Plumber when needed, and provide an estimate for reconstruction and repairs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Restoration Pro is an IICRC Certified Firm with IICRC-certified technicians. Our training includes Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT). This training supports our approach to moisture assessment, drying, contamination control, and documenting the work.
