I had an excellent experience with Darren from Treharne Plumbing. I need to upgrade my drain lines for a remodel and moving the kitchen sink and clothes water onto the bathroom drain system. The drain consisted of cast iron and galvinized pipe. I thought that the 4" Cast Iron was going to have to be modified but Darren thought we could get by and upgrade the galvinized pipe to 2" ABS and pulled out his code book that he had in the truck to verify. Several other plumbers that came over to bid on my project came the same conclusion which saved me alot of money in plumbing cost. Darren gave me a bid the next day and after all of the bids were in, his was the lowest and but also complete with no lose ends. I schedule Darren to come out several weeks later as i was replacing the water lines myself and needed to get some work done before replacing the drain lines. Darren called to say he was going to be an hour late, which I could understand as it was snowing outside. Once he arrived he went quickly to work getting all the parts in place. I needed to leave to do some shopping and he took a break to pull a permit before he started the actual work. When I came back home, he was waiting for me and let me know that the city let him put his work on my water line permit and saved me another $134 in permitting fees. He finished the rough-in in about 4 hours and filled the system and notifed the city for inspection the next day. The inspector showed up the next morning and everything passed inspection and I called Darren to scheduled him to finish the project. He said he was near by and would be over in 30 minutes to complete the project. He was over on time and connected everything and all was my plumbing was funtional a little over 24 hours after he started. I am very happy with Darren from Treharne Plumbing and will ask him to bid on other projects I have in the future.
