Promise Land Construction was great! They did a lot of work for me on the outside of my home, replaced siding, power washing, railing work on porch, adding rails to the steps, building new steps & painting. It was a joy to work with them from start to finish & I will for sure use them again.

Hired on Thumbtack

Well when they decide a job is out of what there willing to travel would be nice to let potential customer know they don't want the job because it's to far. As we sat waiting for estimate it wasn't until I contacted them to see about if they were gonna do the job did I know that they decided they weren't. In the mean time the 2 weeks we been waiting g to hear from them we could have been looking for someone else to do it. Thatnks

Even though it was out of our area we were working on an estimate, however when I went to respond to the question when it would be ready and if we still were interested in the job, I noticed you had already marked "hired another contractor" so we didn't continue and I stated it was actually outside of our usual area. We did not actually get hired to do this job so I didn't know a review was allowed in Thumbtack when a contractor isn't hired. A review link is usually only sent once a job has been completed. I sent a private message with screenshot showing you had marked "hired another pro". There is nowhere to post it here or I would.

Meet in person to look at their project and get to know them a little and what their vision is. Then come up with a materials list, maybe text with a few more questions, get their email and send an estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 30 years experience doing remodels plus a 2 year schooling program learning about rehabbing homes from the ground up.
