FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give an estimated agreed upon quote with a client. Once the job is agreed upon, I take a 50% deposit to cover my costs to begin the job. Once the job is finished, I take the reminder of the 50%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to speak on the phone to get to know a client and prepare for a meeting with them. I interview them as they are interviewing me to determine if we are a good fit. I encourage a client to look at my work on line and when we meet I show them samples of my work and a rough draft of ideas. I also take notes bringing art supplies and sketching as we speak and clarifying as I show my sketches. We have another meeting with at least 3 to 4 sample ideas or thumbnail ideas. Once one is decided, I take a 50% deposit and complete the finished product. After the job is completed, I charge the remainder of the fee quoted. I estimate and come up with an agreed upon term with a client.
