FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our listing fee is $6,000 for homes listed up to and including $1.5 million, and $10,000 above $1.5 million. There are no upfront fees; we’re paid at closing. Once the home is under contract, the fee stays the same even if it sells for more. Any buyer-broker compensation is optional and separate from our listing fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a conversation about your home, timing, and goals for the sale. Our listing process is handled remotely, so we do not routinely visit the property in person. We work with you on pricing and listing strategy, prepare the listing for market, manage buyer activity, review and negotiate offers, and stay involved through inspection, appraisal, and closing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a Licensed Managing Broker in Washington with experience representing sellers from pricing and marketing through offers, negotiation, inspection, appraisal, and closing. The Flat Fee Agency provides full-service seller representation rather than an MLS-only service that simply places your home on the MLS and leaves the seller to handle the rest.
