Jon & Eric are absolutely awesome! From the moment they came over to my house, I knew they were the contractors I needed. They work so well together, and their chemistry shows in how smoothly the whole process goes. What stood out most is that they genuinely care about what’s best for the house as a whole—not just getting the job done quickly. They’re good, honest men who take pride in their work, and it really shows in the results. I couldn’t recommend Pacific Edge more highly!

Sadly, my son and his wife divorced, and the house in Vashon needed to be finished fast. Jon’s crew stepped in and did not disappoint. In just a few weeks, we had new floors, bathrooms, and a deck all done. Since we were selling, we kept adding extra work, and they handled everything without trouble. Jon and Pacific Edge are a great company to have around. Too bad we live in Michigan.

Pacific Edge Remodeling recently built a deck for my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My house has a curved exterior, which made the project quite complex—but their team handled it with precision and creativity. The finished deck is not only beautiful but also seamlessly follows the unique curve of the house. What really impressed me was their attention to detail and consideration for my pets. During the remodel, they made sure to include a safe walkway so my pets could still get outside without any issues. It’s that kind of thoughtfulness that sets them apart. Professional, communicative, and truly skilled—Pacific Edge Remodeling did an amazing job from start to finish. I highly recommend them for any remodeling project!

Jon and his team did an amazing job on my bathroom remodel. They took it from a complete gut job to a beautifully finished space, and I couldn’t be happier. They are a fun group of guys who stayed on top of things and really cared about getting it done right. Highly recommend them if you need any remodeling work done

Hired on Thumbtack

I hired them for a porch repair, roof and gutters cleaning. We agreed on a job and price, also they offered to fix a small area on the fence for no additional charge. It felt they were responsible so I hired them. I kept my word and payed the price although the first job wasn’t done properly, caulking wasn’t properly applied, the gutters had mud or thick gooey stuff after they told me the job was done. After I pointed out the issue the guy stayed few hours to clean the gutters. I had my time wasted. The moss wasn’t properly removed from the roof, it had areas they didn’t see, they had to come back and clean it after I pointed out. They explained some issue with the roof, but at the time I pointed out the guy agreed he didn’t see that area- how can I trust they cleaned where I can’t see? I just trusted and payed them as we agreed beforehand. An additional job came out, they estimated a price, then after finishing they gave me a higher price. They agreed to lower the price if I can write them an excellent review- I can’t lie to people of what I didn’t experience. Maybe they did a good job with others, but I prefer someone to finish their job without being pointed out what needs to be finished, also if you agree for a price, keep the promise.

Details: Repair one or few decking boards • Repair significant wood rot or water damage • Wood • Residential

Pacific Edge Construction's reply
Hi Victoria, I’d like to address your concerns and provide clarity for anyone reading this. Regarding the roof moss, most of the moss was beneath the shingles, and removing it manually would have risked damaging your roof further. To avoid this, we lightly brushed big spots and applied a chemical moss treatment designed to kill the moss safely. The treatment washes away with rain over time. When we returned, we scrubbed off the remaining moss and applied another layer of treatment at no additional cost to ensure the job was thorough. For the gutters, while there was some initial misunderstanding due to a new team member, we ensured they were completely cleaned during our follow-up visit, addressing your concerns promptly. As for the caulking, the initial application was affected by rain, which impacted its adherence. We promptly resolved this by reapplying the caulk and repainting the area to ensure a proper finish. Regarding the pricing, I want to clarify that we charged the amount we initially estimated for the job. The only addition to the estimate was the required tax, which is unavoidable and was not a markup or hidden fee. We also repaired your fence at no charge as a gesture of goodwill and to provide additional value. While I appreciate your input, I want to emphasize that we took every step to address your concerns, go above and beyond, and deliver quality work. We value constructive feedback and always aim to improve, but I respectfully disagree with some of the claims in this review. If there’s anything further you’d like to discuss, feel free to reach out directly.
