Introduction
I'm able to gear my approach to each individual student's background, level of skills, & musical goals. This ability is the result of years of experience, working with all kinds of students in all age groups, on every style of music that exists in Western culture. My musical & teaching experience is supported by the fact that I've played every style of music professionally; taught at the University level as an Artist-In-Residence; & taught hundreds of students how to play well. Many of my students have gone on to college with piano scholarships, & have played professionally all over the world.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Experience counts a lot. Teaching is an art & a skill separate from those of making music, & takes time to get really good at. Look for a teacher or a recording engineer with enough experience so that they can support you fully in your artistic goals. Just because a person can play the piano well doesn't mean that they have the training & the experience to be able to teach really well. At the age of 62, I have a lifetime of experience. I've been teaching since I was age 21 & I sung backup on a Pat Boone 45-rpm single at the age of 10, which lauched my love for recording studios at a very early age!
