Carlos was prompt from the beginning. He answered my questions, waited for me to get back and then we finally set up a time for the door installation. Once I decided to go ahead, he met me within 2 days--not a week later. As it turns out, it was terrible weather and he called again early on installation day to say he was running late with the rain and poor streets. Very courteous and professional. When it came to the door installation, we decided to take the prehung door I bought and just replace the door. He had to repostion the hinges but made it fit nicely. He also replaced the worn weatherstripping. He told me at the onset if I didn't like it for whatever reason he would replace everything and just put in the prehung frame. It turned out beautifully and fits great, No need to revert to the original plan. I am glad Carlos suggested this idea first as I wasn't thrilled about tearing our the front door and wondering whether the brick surround would still fit snug. He was very well prepared with all the necessary tools and cleaned up also. Truthfully he didn't make much of a mess to begin with which I appreciated. This is my first time using Thumbtack and I am so glad I found Carlos. I will use him in the future again. Thank you very much Carlos,

I had an absolutely great experience with C&D. The price they quoted was extremely competitive! They were here right on time and did a superb job! He gave me an estimate on another job I want to eventually get done and again it was the best price quote I received!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is different some are smaller than other etc. But I know for a fact that my prices are reasonable s compare to other contractors. One example : I charge $1.50 sq. Ft on the crown molding, must of the contractor charge $2 without painting it.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As soon I send the quote I wait for the customers to call me if they have any question related to my quote or the job they want me to do. Then when we agreed on all the terms of the scope of work we set the starting date and the completion date. I never ask money up front. I just ask for the total amount after job its done. And customers satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have work on finish carpentry for so long than I have plenty experience on this trade.
