For students seeking help in learning to play with other musicians, learning to accompany for with singing reading charts, improvising I am diversed in these areas and offer many tools to accomplish these wonder music skills.
Music is my life & teaching is my passion! I teach piano to all ages & want students to have fun making music! I enjoy passing on many styles of music from Classical to American Roots Blues, Boogie Woogie, New Orleans, Country, Gospel, and Jazz. Also the desire to learn improvising, doing original music composing, learning to accompany & play with other musicians. My lessons cover what a student wishes to learn as everyone has different interests.
I do teach basic reading skills and learning to play by ear along with theory, technique and introducing many world of music that is out here. For students who wish to participate in performing, I do have recitals and other public venues to provide performances. I never pressure a student to perform. I delight in giving each student encouragement to play & enjoy!

Annieville is a 10 on the scale of 5. Her enthusiastic, professional and caring attention to each student's playing needs and interests make her the best. I can't say enough about the how much I learned from her. Here are a couple of examples:
1. I had pre-purchased some music, and she made sure we incorporated what I purchased with her ideas for progression.
2. She had a wonderful mix of new and experienced learners, young and " more mature", those intending to study music and those just playing for fun.
3. Her repertoire includes almost everything: jazz, blues, classical, R&B, rock and roll. You name the genre and Annieville can teach it.
4. Her love for teaching shines through no matter what is happening.
In summary, Annieville is the best. Enjoy your time with her.

Annieville is a dedicated, professional gift to Ventura and to me! I am 73 and started a few months ago. She makes piano learning happen while you are laughing and having FUN. I would give Annieville 10 stars if that were possible! She exceeds all expectations as a teacher.

Annieville is a terrific teacher. She is a very skilled player and performer, but she can meet any student at the level they're at. She is an expert at teaching the Blues and New Orleans-style rhythms, but she can tailor your lesson to anything you want to learn. I highly recommend Annieville. Plus you'll have a lot of fun learning!

If you want a traditional teacher who will suck life out of art for you, move along. Annieville Blues inspires her students to learn everything they can because her love of music and learning is contagious. My daughter started music lessons with Annieville as a young girl, and now, though still a teenager, she’s a performing musician. I’m sorry we no longer live in the same state because Annieville is simply the best.
