FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most fees are flat rate and unless you have a particular or complicated case, fees are generally fixed at the same rate for each service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my years of experience, every year I attend CLE's, American Immigration Lawyers Association conferences, and provide services at pro bono clinics where I receive training and updates on the most recent immigration laws and information.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Throughout law school, and even before going to law school, I had worked in the field of criminal defense law. After graduating in 2010, I went on a trip to Italy where I met my husband. After about a year we decided to get married. We wanted to live together in the US, so I filed my first immigrant petition for my husband. We had friends that then needed help, so I started to do more and more petitions. I realized I loved this area of law. It was interesting to learn about people's cultures, experiences, stories, and meet their families. It was so rewarding that I decided to not go back to criminal law, and I became an immigration lawyer -- for good!
