I had been procrastinating on filing for bankruptcy for a long time. I have used Thumbtack before and decided to try it again. Ashley was super fast with a response and we e-mailed back and forth almost immediately. She told me to let her know if she could match other quotes I received, and was very clear on the benefits of using Start Fresh Northwest. She quoted me a great price that included a partial payment to the court, which made the payment process easier. I felt great about our interactions so I chose her company. I met with her partner Delaina, and she met me at my neighborhood Starbucks twice, once to go over the contract and the 2nd time to do the actual paper work. They are both super flexible and would have done most everything over phone and fax if that is what I wanted. The process was emotional for me, and both Ashley and Delaina were awesome. They responded to my phone calls, e-mails and texts immediately, and made me feel better when I had concerns when other people, not bankruptcy attorneys offered their 2 cents about filing for bankruptcy. We are almost done, with a hearing coming up and I'm relieved it's almost over. I am all about customer service and Fresh Start Northwest totally gets it! It has also been nice working with a company run by women. Lawyers can be intimidating and I often felt like I was talking to a friend when voicing concerns. I never felt like any question was to small or stupid to ask. Use them! You won't regret it!

We offer flat rates for bankruptcy, debt negotiations criminal and traffic ticket defense. For family law, we implement an hourly rate and set a retainer based on our client's financial abilities. We always work with our clients, offer payment plans and sliding scale fees on certain cases.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work around our client's needs. Some folks prefer to do as much as possible by email and phone, and some prefer to discuss their cases in person. No matter what your individual preferences, we have the bandwidth and flexibility to make you our priority. Consultation time is always free, fast, privileged and confidential.
