Cristal is an excellent photographer! She took beautiful pictures of me, my husband and our dog for our 1 year anniversary photoshoot. She is very responsive on the platform and clear in communication. We had our photos within 2 days and she did a pretty good job with the editing as well! Would definitely recommend!Dec 20, 2019Verified

Wedding and Event Photography
Cristal is amazing! I accidentally booked her for the wrong date and she still made it to my event to take beautiful photos. I appreciate her flexibility, patience and professionalism. She made everyone feel comfortable during the photoshoot and got memorable photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. I can't recommend her enough! Thank you so much!Jan 14, 2020VerifiedCristal Bennett's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I communicate through a series of emails, meeting in person or having a video call or two, and text messages. I am friendly and try to provide my customers with the information needed to be their most successful and happy selves.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started taking photography classes my senior year of high school, 1999. I believe it was here that I made my first pinhole camera and developed my own film and prints. In Connecticut, I attended photography classes at Norwalk Community College. I spent a lot of time taking color printing classes. I also won my first photo contest here for a black and white print. From Connecticut I went to Texas and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. During this time I took courses on studio lighting, alternative printing methods, Adobe Photoshop, and advanced darkroom printing methods.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?During my time at university, I worked for a newspaper focusing on story driven photojournalism. After graduating, I worked in and ran a family portrait photo studio in Eugene, Oregon. Now I strive to provide story driven photos for families, heirlooms for you and your children to cherish for many lifetimes.
