Two Monkeys is the best!! Mauricio was punctual, communicative, beyond hard working and efficient. He also offered practical advice on the work and placement of plants which was appreciated. One thing I really appreciated is his cleaning up and using a broom and blower to leave the work site tidy. I’m already planning the next project!

BEWARE OF TWO MONKEYS. I hired Mauricio to replace one fence post. I sent him clear pictures, and he quoted me a price, which we agreed upon, and I hired him. He came to look at fence post and increased quote, so I asked him what he saw now that he hadn’t seen in pictures that the price increased, and he really couldn’t explain himself, however we agreed to pay his increased price. He & worker showed up the next afternoon; took down two fence panels and removed the post. Erected new post, but sawed off the top before setting post in concrete. We had to point out the post was now to short, because they sawed it off to low, which they tried to argue, but it was so obvious they agreed and went to Home Depot for new post. They started to erect new post, which by the way was yellow, but fine we’ll stain it. However, this time the post was a complete different size, too small, and didn’t match all the other 4x4 posts, which again we had to point out. They said they would come back next morning at 9am, with 4x4 post. By this time they had mangled the the fence panels with the nail gun and chipped the bottom of the fence, which you can see in pictures. The next day they didn’t show up until 1:30pm. Every time I texted Mauricio what time he was coming he text they were out looking for 4x4 post. Apparently it takes 4.5 hours to find a 4x4 post that I found in one, 5 minute, phone call to Dunn Lumber. They brought the right post this time, but because they were rushing they made several mistakes again. Dug whole too deep, so post was was short again, wasn’t aligned with other posts to far on my side of property, and needed more concrete. We even tied rope to show how far off alignment the new post was from existing posts. Mauricio said he was going to store for more concrete and would be right back. I noticed he picked up all his tools, so asked him, if he’s coming right back why he packed up all his tools, he said not to worry he’d be right back. Well shocking , he never showed up again, and left my fence as you see in pictures. Shoddy work, no attention to detail, and untrustworthy.
