Introduction: I look at each client as an individual with unique needs and goals. I listen to what you want to achieve and tailor a program that is specific to your goals. I am not only certified in Personal Training, but also have my certification in Fitness Nutrition and Understanding Hormones. I counsel my clients in how nutrition and hormones work together and give them a comprehensive education in nutrition and well-being. I have helped clients to lose weight, gain muscle and strength, increase their balance, alleviate IBS symptoms, and allergy symptoms. I have a holistic approach to my clients total overall wellness. I am very sensitive to my clients desires and have experienced the ups and downs of weight control. I love giving people hope. I enjoy working one on one, helping clients feel good about themselves again and giving them their confidence back. Living a healthy lifestyle is my passion and I know how hard it is to change habits. I try to work with my clients in behavior changes and get to the root of why we do things and help them to change the way they view themselves to a more positive mindset and work on behavior modification. I feel so blessed to be able to work in a field in which I am so passionate about.

Tina Cotterill is well versed in strength training techniques (which I need!) as well as instruction toward total well-being. She has helped me during the past year to become stronger physically and to help me food plan. I am almost 70 years of age, and find the workouts that she structures for me exactly what I need to live long and prosper! She's also unbelievably inexpensive and cheerfully drives to my home every week! I highly recommend Tina Cotterill to anyone of any age who has decided to live a healthier life style.

Tina is more than a trainer, she has become a mentor and a friend. She has found the right balance between stroking my ego and encouraging me to action. She speaks truth in love based on her observations of my life. Just when you think it can’t get any better, she tweaks diet and exercise to keep your goals moving forward. So far I’ve lost 20 lbs from highly effective workouts and nutrition goals. Tina has a balanced approach to health goals and is the complete package!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I will meet a new client in a non-threatening mutual location to let the client get to know me first before coming to my studio or me to the client's home. I want to let the client decide if I am a good fit for them and vice versa before we commit to working together. Once we have agreed that I can help them, I set up an initial consultation appointment to get us started.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a Certified Professional Trainer, a Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist and am Certified in Understanding Hormones. I am required to do continuing education to stay certified so I always stay up to date and am continuing to learn new things.
