- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important thing is to listen to what the customer wants. Once we agree on a plan of action, we move quickly to make it happen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continually read and learn new music myself, and take lessons from others (right now, I am learning to play the Hammered Dulcimer!). I network with other music teachers, and am a member of the National Music Teachers Association (NMTA). I read and write blogs, learn from my students, and am a substitute organist at my church.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started playing the piano at age 6, and never looked back. I can't remember a time in my life when music was not the most important force for me.
