- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to study photography in many ways. Most recently, I was able to attend a CREATIVE LIVE workshop in the audience for two different times with Jasmine Star. She is an inspiration spurring us all on to keep learning, growing and encouraging others in the trade by sharing and teaching. I read rangefinder magazine, online forums, blogs and network with other local photographers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to an academic high school in Tacoma, Bellarmine Prep, and while I enjoyed school and got good grades, I could not imagine 4 years of more intense studies. I wanted something I would LOVE to spend my years learning on and perfecting in college. When I was a senior in high school, I was on the yearbook staff as a photographer and also took several classes for photography. I fell in love and never looked back! I cannot imagine doing anything else, but look forward to incorporating my skill in even more artistic and fun ways and building my business!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do most everything! Our most recent work has included headshots for realtors, senior portraits for high school and a family with 4 children and a dog! We love to work with people and hope you will choose us to capture your special memories. They go way too fast!
