Introduction: Catchlight.Co was co-founded by Genevieve Ruth, an award-winning, Seattle-area photographer with 20 years of experience in portraiture and commercial design work. Her studio provides small-business support, management and marketing consulting, and partners closely with clients throughout the design process to produce high-quality, consistent, and exciting imagery for print and digital advertising. Samples, pricing, licensing fees and more can be found at catchlight.co Additionally, 10% of proceeds benefit organ-donation advocacy programs and transplant-related drug research and testing.. a company with heart! I absolutely LOVE the creative process and positive reactions to my finished work. Since I have managed businesses large and small for almost 20 years, I use those insights to develop an appropriate marketing strategy based on resources, demographic, desired direction and reach. I listen closely to learn and cultivate a client's vision and use my experience and intuition to fill in any gaps. I pride myself on producing imagery that goes above and beyond what is expected, every time. :)

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When seeking a professional photographer for either commercial or portrait work, it is CRITICAL that they truly be just that. It is frustrating and wasteful to spend time and money on lackluster work, only to hire someone else to get the job done correctly, quickly, and with the high quality you expected the first time. I'd suggest doing your research, reviewing portfolios and recommendations, and not making hiring decisions based on the lowest bid because, in this industry, you will always get what you pay for.
