Paul saved the day for us eight years ago when we needed to find a new architect to complete and revise plans made for a long-dreamed for project that the original architect could not return to two years after he submitted it. Paul took it on and brought it to the County, where we were stopped in our tracks when we were told our plan to dig our own well would not be permitted. Not to be deterred, we did what we were told and then last year, when the diverted plan of joining a recently dug community well for a neighboring HOA seemed plausible, I returned to ask Paul to downsize the plan . Again, Paul did not hesitate to accept and firmly stood by patiently as I waited for the well project to be finalized. Four years after the unexpected death of my husband, when the State stepped in and reduced the number of water shares, I had to come to the difficult decision to abandon the project. I remain so grateful to Paul for his kindness and compassion - despite the fact that we were unable to see this project through. I would hire Paul again in a heartbeat. He is a good man, with considerable knowledge and skill, but most importantly, because of his compassion and stalwart support.

Paul was our architect for our addition above our garage. Initially, things were fine, but communication became really rough and his work ended up delaying our project by two months and costing us an additional $661. He ignored multiple messages from us, and my contractor had to reach out to him multiple times to get a response. He also did not take measurements in-person which led to a 5-foot discrepancy between his plan and the actual site. This discrepancy then caused a two month delay (for him to redraw the plans and then for the plans to be approved again). This also resulted in us paying $661 in permit revision fees that we would have not needed to pay if he had properly measured the first time.

I charge hourly or per sq ft depending on the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to train to be able to offer the most flexible and current designs. I am currently training in Revit (BIM), Sketchup pro and rendering.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been drawing houses since 12 years old and incorporating CAD at the age of 14. I am fascinated with homes and design because it is a persons relief at the end of a long day. Where a family can enjoy each others company and grow together.
