What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined by the complexity of the tax return. Giving a quote is difficult unless I know all the details from the previous tax return and what types of documents the client will have for the upcoming year.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am involved in continuing education all year long. I attend formal classes as well as taking numerous classes online. Classes in taxation, updates in the laws and accounting updates.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been a numbers person and preparing taxes and doing accounting seemed like a great fit!
