Heidi was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist. She was attentive, funny, sweet, punctual. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day, and most of that was her makeup magic. She did an amazing job on myself and my girls. All my bridesmaids were beautiful, and she worked with them to get their eye shadow to match the colors of their individual dresses. Another thing that made Heidi my favorite person that day was the sweet thing she did for my now husband. My husband had planned to surprise me by shaving off his big bushy beard right before our ceremony, but he was worried about tan lines and razor burn. So he was sneaky and reached out to Heidi a few weeks prior to see if she would be willing to help him with that so he wouldn't be all red and self conscious. Heidi thought it was such a cute idea and she agreed in a heartbeat, and she never hinted at what was going on so I had no clue. It was the best surprise! The care with which she treated myself, my girls, and my husband was just amazing, and I felt so comfortable with her. I feel very blessed to have met her and that she agreed to help me on my special day. Heidi, you are fabulous and I can't thank you enough!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Altho it is not required in our industry... yes! I do my best to get my hands on every little piece of info I can, to keep me up to date & on trend!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
By accident! I originally was going to school to be an interior designer. I was working at a department store jewelry counter part time. Management needed someone to fill in at a cosmetic counter while another artist was on maternity leave. They offered me the position, the artist didn't come back...& I fell in love with the world of makeup!
