Introduction: I am a patient and passionate musician who has experience in a variety of musical disciplines, including piano teaching, composition, production, arranging/orchestration, jazz piano, classical performance, and music theory. I provide services in either of these disciplines as well as offer private lessons in them. I enjoy sharing what I've learned with others and seeing them grow in their abilities. I learned how to play the guitar by ear but wanted to learn how to read music as well as have some rudimentary piano playing skills. Andrew very quickly gave me a working knowledge of how music theory works recommended great teaching materials and then worked through that with me. His instruction style is very hands-on practical and at the same time very easy to understand and comprehend. Andrew catered his teaching style to my learning style.

I look forward to my weekly piano lessons with Andrew! He is gifted at getting to the heart of what I was looking for in my lessons, and more important, he made them super fun, like dancing in circles to learn chords! Never thought piano lessons could be so enjoyable. :-)

Eli did a spectacular performance playing for a 60th birthday party. He showed up promptly and had endurance as we added an extra hour. Our guests had a good time hearing his jazz piano. Thanks much!

Andrew provided piano entertainment to our group for a caroling party where we sang along. he was punctual and prepared, and brought his own song book as well. he was helpful with changing keys if needed. he also sight read a few songs that we're in the song book. i recommend Andrew for parties and entertainment.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I actually finished writing orchestral arrangements of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "We Three Kings." Each arrangement took a few months, and I hope to have them performed by local orchestras soon.
