- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every two years we add 24 plus hrs of continuing education to our knowledge base.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
These days its Short Sales, Bank Inspections, Pre Sale Inspections. Mostly with at least one utility not turned on. Older homes that have sat unoccupied for a period of time. Some so full of possessions, its really hard to do my job. Mostly the homes have irregular issues, but in general are considered part of the snapshot of the day its inspected.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Money well invested. The educational service and knowledge gained in a concise report is a blessing with so many aspects of a home to understand. Chump change compared with the potential mortgage and commitment. Decades of experience in the industry cannot be ignored when choosing a Home Inspector. Friendly, easy going and able to translate techno speak into every day language is a must.
