Magical and Intuitive. That is how I would describe Vanessa’s photography style. Vanessa has an innate ability – first and foremost – to capture children. It’s as if she has a third eye and sees things others do not. She captures children at play and also as they gaze into their parents’ or grandparents’ eyes. Because she connects so well with children, even staged photos look spontaneous! Vanessa also captured my mom’s 80th birthday party in a way that I would only trust to her. She literally captured the feeling of the event – which was exactly what we wanted. The photos leapt off the page. If you are looking for someone who specializes in family photography, especially outdoor and nature-based venues, Vanessa is your go-to photographer. She’s a born artist.

I have had many photography sessions with Vanessa. She is creative and has a keen sense of awareness and ability to capture the beauty of her subjects. I am so blessed and happy with my photographs every time! She is punctual, thoughtful, and able offer suggestions on venues and how to “pose“. (Which I definitely need!)
