FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Really my prices are pretty well set. I am less expensive than most people around. I for example only charge $150 to go to Flagstaff, Arizona. But I do charge $175 for the valley and surrounding area including Sedona. Most of the prices here are about $250-$500. I just believe that the minister should be affordable. A lot of couples think my prices are a little high it just really depends on how long I am going to be driving to get somewhere. If I drive to Phoenix (147 miles) then I believe it is fair to charge $175.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is always something new you can learn in a field and something new you can learn in any field. My belief is that one should use all 66 books of the bible, that should be enough for anyone. However if you start ministering to a group of people that do not normally get ministered to than it is good to get training to minister to that group. This does include understanding the culture, the effects of said culture not to mention any idioms that are used in that culture. It makes life way more effective and ministering much more effective.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I saw a need of people needed to be cared about. And taking care of people is second nature. I can not explain how I got into the ministry it was more God ordained and called. When one feels the calling in their life there isn't much you can do but go with the flow for the ministry. It is a whole other type of lessons that need to be learned. I can say this much, seeing people at their happiest and and saddest days of their lives gives a different prospective of where they are.
