They don't allow for much information to be written by you nor in response by me. First I noticed you indicated you wanted a "Premium" performer. I could just say that's me but I doubt if you'd trust me anyway. I'm a bit biased LOL However... I hope you'll take a couple of minutes to read the info below. I hope you'll discover what makes the difference between a "Premium" performer and some, of the local talent. At this point, I do hope you'll forgive my immodesty for a few moments. But this is the only way I know to help you understand what is different about having me for your party. To start off with, it's experience. After decades of performing and literally THOUSANDS of shows, I'm gettin' this magic stuff down. There are only a handful of other performers in the area that can even come close to that claim. International Awards...Worldwide lecturer...Published Author on magic...A lot more Just read on. My show is full of visual magic and gags. Yet it will still amaze and entertain the older kids and yes...Even the adults. In addition it is my sincere wish to give your child a memory of this birthday that will last a lifetime. They truly become the star of the show. Especially when they, themselves, produce a LIVE BUNNY RABBIT. this is often the big hit of the party as the can all pet and play with the bunny. I know I may be a few dollars more than other bids but I've found most parents are willing to invest a little more to get an experienced, award winning performer they know will give their child and guests a great show. PLUS...One of the unique parts of my show is that there is also lots of humor and amazement for the adults too. I do a ton of community events. I just booked my third year in a row for Bellingham's Fest. 3 years for the City of Carnation's 4th of July event. 11 straight years of magic for the Tacoma Festival of Trees plus numerous other events in Seattle, Renton, Portland, Canada, Tacoma and so on. There's a reason I get so many repeat bookings. As I write this I just got back from Columbus , Ohio where I've been hired to make a training video for thousands of magicians around the world of my original magic and routines. This is NOT what many think of when the think of a "magic show". It's NOT a guy playing around with "tricky" boxes and "magic" props. He cost a little more than the other bids but was more than worth it. This is not a guy doing simple sill tricks for kids. The kids were laughing and squealing for almost an hour. What surprised me most was how much the adults were blown away by the magic. And how much they laughed too. I called a reference about him and her comments were so good I didn't believe he could really be that good. Actually he was better than she told me. At the end Rick made a real live rabbit appear right next to my daughter and this was a huge hit and made my daughter's day. Thumbtack hosts a wide range of talent and experience. Many of the magicians here are "weekend warriors" with only a few years of experience and primarily work for young kids birthday parties. Nothing wrong with that. We all start somewhere. But it is something you should keep in mind depending on how important it is to really WOW your guests. Like anything else you'll tend "get what you pay for". My experience is the entertainment is easily the "make or break" portion of most events. Guests rarely go home raving about the food, the music or event the decor. They do talk about my show for days after. It's hard to describe without you seeing it live but there really is a difference between what I give you and what you'd get from the typical local talent.
