In California, you must be up to date with all current Notary knowledge, pass a proctored exam, etc. I was commissioned in the State of California from 2002-2012. Upon moving to Washington State, I noticed the requirements were much different to obtain your Notary Public Commission and you did not have to take a test, nor did you have to answer any questions regarding the position you were asking to acquire. I believe that with my years of expertise in the Title/Escrow & Real Estate field and my up-to-date knowledge as a Commissioned Member of the National Notary Association for over 10 years, I believe I offer a service more beneficial to YOU, the customer. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very fair when compared to competitors; As my prices that are reflected includes any and everything you are needing- with someone you can trust has the dedication you are looking for to ensure your satisfaction.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon initial contact, I ask what it is they are looking for, and any other details that they wanting completed. After that, I go over the process of what is to be expected, ask for the particular information needed to complete their request and am there via telephone email etc. every step of the way to answer questions make changes or anything else that might arise until the project is completed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Aside from the years of training and on the job experience, I attended University Of Phoenix and obtained a degree in Business/Finance-- as well as several training seminars for Escrow & Mortgage.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 1999, I started working in Title and Escrow: and since then, I have incorporated into my skill-set: Home Loan Mortgage Officer, Real Estate Transaction Coordinator, Business Owner, Certified Loan Signing Agent, Notary Public, as well as a Legal Document Assistant/ Paralegal.
What types of customers have you worked with?
1.) Notarizations of a variety of documents--including Lender Packages, Real Estate transactions, Decrees, Power of Attorneys, Wills, etc. 2.) Wedding Officiating 3.) Family Law Help/Document Preparation.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My most recent projects have been a Divorce I completed for a Woman who turned out to be someone I developed a wonderful friendship with. Also another project I'm proud of is a FSBO Real Estate Sale. I love being able to help those where help is needed: while being able to put my years of knowledge to good use.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I am knowledgeable, precise and willing to go the extra mile as I believe that the Client comes first.
