FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
• I charge an extra 150+ for removal and disposal • For long distances, gas compensation is appreciated For carpet removal and disposal: I charge extra if carpet contains excess dust, animal excrement, garbage, grime, mold, etc. for health reasons. These things can be harmful to inhale and handle. Makes my job harder and in some cases can lead to a visit with the doctor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a customer reaches out I’ll, inform them of my availability, give them recommendations or a guide based on what they may need depending on their situation, point them in the direction of a store/supplier i think is a good fit, i’d ask for some pictures to see what i’m working with, and then follow with a rough estimate based on certain factors like removal and disposal, carpet type, square footage, etc. I offer to pickup the carpet and transport it myself, and from there i get the job done.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been around this kind of work all my life. My father wanted to share his skills with me, so I learned the trade from him and have been going at it for over a year now.
