FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our office bills on a fixed-fee basis. What this means is that we do not charge you by the hour. We understand that your case is important, and so we do not nickel and dime. One flat fee covers all of the work required to successfully defend your case. We offer flexible payment plans for customers who are not able to pay the full retainer up front.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We take the time to go over your case and understand your side of the story. We will go over upcoming court dates, and I will will explain how court works and give you an estimated timeline for when your case will resolve. I will go over the potential outcomes in your case, explain to you your options, the pros and cons of each option. Ultimately, you are the client. My goal is to give you the tools necessary to make an educated decision about which direction you would like to take your case.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane WA, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. I then attended Gonzaga University School of Law and earned a juris doctorate. I have practiced law in Washington state for many years, appearing in court on a regular basis. My practice specializes in defending those charged with crimes, DUI's and traffic tickets. I attend regular legal trainings on updates in the law so that I can stay on top of the current trends in criminal defense.
